There are some things that really make a difference in life. Orho-k is one of them. I was wearing glasses for 35 years. Always hated this, especially during the rain and when I was riding a horse… I tried various contact lenses, but after few days they were always causing irritation and alergic reaction, so I had to stop using them for a while.
I was lucky to meet dr Liliana Reis who convinced me to try ortho-k. First few days (and especially nights) were horrible and I wanted to give it up. Liliana insisted to continue (I will be always greatful!) and after several more days it began to work. I have been using them now for almost three years and being absolutely honest it is the best thing that happenned to me during these three years. My myopia is not a problem anymore. I can swim, ride a horse and do literally everything being able to see every detail around me. No irritation, no alergy, no side effects (so far).
And -last but not least – an unique pleasure to look into Liliana’s beautiful eyes during control visits every 6 months! 🙂
